Our Concourse Detail was designed for show cars, but what we have found is that it’s definitely more popular with hobbyists, car club enthusiast and particular customers. This type of clientele is the core of this unique service. It ties in all of Doctor Detail’s services in one detail. A true concourse show car usually does not need attention of deep cleaning, removal of body parts, exterior or interior, they are what we call “Trailer Queens” and before a show they will go through an intensive detailing, but think of it as more of a body massage where all areas of the body get touched by a glaze, polish, or wax. A little paint brush here or there, some conditioner, etc.
Our Concourse Detail is taking that classic or modern classic with good bones - something that has true potential and making it a show car, without restoring it. An intense reconditioning covering the undercarriage, engine, wheel wells, doorjambs, interior and exterior. All of these areas go through a thorough detailing to a finished product.
As you can imagine, price varies. Let’s consider two extremes: A 1950-60, Bentley/Rolls Royce or a 1998, Porsche 993 Carrera. Price could range from $3,000 on the Carerra to $10,000 on the Bentley/Rolls. This is of course extreme, but when you consider what full restoration might cost, the Doctor Detail Concourse Detail is extremely affordable. Most will even call what we do restoration, but we like to call it a Concourse Detail.
